Though Reena does mean melted in Sanskrit as this site says, I am not sure that is where the name came from. The Ri- names (Rita, Rina, Riya etc.), at least the ones I know the meaning of, are surprising in meaning for a name in the social class where it is used; and, they have all come into use, to the best of my knowledge, in the last couple of hundred years when borrowing from Europe was a distinct possibility.
