Ember
I think that Ember is a unique girl's name. The only problem is that there really isnt a meaning for it, at least, none that I've found.

MY guess would be that the origin and meaning would be from the English word ember meaning glowing coal. I'm not really positive though.

According to m-w.com, the word ember comes from the Middle English eymere, which is in turn from the Old Norse eimyrja, both of which mean what raindancing said.
I'm not sure how much more meaning and origin you want. :D
