I love this name and believe it is of Danish origin for a girl meaning peaceful ruler - derivative of frederik. can anyone tell me how you pronounce Rikke?

In the Netherlands it's a boys and girls name (though not a common name), and short for anything that ends in -rik. It's pronounced RIK-ku.

Note that the R in Rikke is a Uvu-pharyngeal R (IPA symbol [ʁ]). I do a uvular trill. The is not a hard aspirated /kh/, but rather leans toward a /g/ sound. It still is not voiced, however.
