arlon was my fathers first name and i am pretty sure the family was from scottland. maybe sone cherokee. thrown in for good measure. i have heard of only 1 other person with this first name can you help. thanks diane campbell662003@yahoo.com. his last name was campbell

Arlon is a town in Belgium; it was also a synthetic fibre, like nylon but softer and fluffier - doesn't seem to be made any more.

Perhaps the family just dropped the M from Marlon?
