I have a son named Adrain. I was told it is an old Irish name. I cannot find the meaning and correct spelling of his name. Has anyone ever heard of this name?

This does seem to be an Irish name - other forms Adrane and Odrain. Odrain is from
Odhran
(pronounced Oh rawn) which means "pale green".

Are you sure you didn't mean
Adrian
? Otherwise I could make several bright suggestions involving plumbers ...
