Where does my name come from?.
I'm trying to find out which country my forename comes from. I have looked on here and it shows a connection with Russia. However, in the past i have been told by Indian people that it is in an Indian name. I am very confused.
I am female and British

Natasha is a Russian name. I have never heard of it as an Indian name, that doesn't sound right.
Here in the database it says it's a pet form of the Russian name Natalya. It says it's only used in Russian and English, that could have something to do with why it's your name since you are British, but it is most common in Russia.
