My mom said she wrote to a friend in washington DC & ask her how to spell Rene, she wrote my mom back & said the correct spelling for Rene is a man's name in french & it's spell Rhene, I have looked everywhere for this spelling & can't find it please help if you know this spelling please help thanks Rhene

The name Rhene is Greek. She was Greek nymph. For pronounciation, you'd have to see ancient greek. Maybe Rhenee or Rheneh.

My name is Rhene too. My mom insists that she found the spelling in a book stating it was to correct spelling for the name in french too. the info I have come across leads me to believe it's actually a german name.
