Trygve
Does anyone know how Trygve is pronounced?

It's pronounced TRIG- veh. It's a Scandinavian boys' name and it means "safe".
I think it means trustworthy or true, actually. If it's derived from the old norse word tryggr, it probably does, although safe is another possible meaning. :)
Well, my books says the meaning is "safe", but I suppose you're right, too.
Are you Swedish? I am.

Nope, I'm Icelandic :)
So maybe I'm wrong, I haven't got a book for this but I'm pretty sure that the Icelandic equivalent, Tryggvi, means faithful, loyal, true etc.. and can mean safe in certain contexts as well.
These are all modern Icelandic words: tryggð = faithfulness, tryggur = faithful, tryggja = ensure, trygging = ensurance, tryggt = guaranteed, certain .... and so on.
