does anybody know what pamplin means?my boyfriend gave my our daughter this name to her as part of her middle name,he says its spanish,i think he's made it up!

Actually, the Pamplin name is believed to be Spanish, French, and English.

"Pamplina" in Spanish means "duck-weed, chickweed, pimpernel". It's also a Spanish colloquialism for something trifling.
