Meaning of "Haverd"
I haven't a clue about my middle names "Haverd" and "Devanghn." As for Devanghn, I believe my mother just did a fusion with her name to make "Devaughn" but I know "Vaughn" is Welsh. But Haverd is from her uncle's first name, and I've heard it every once in a while randomly, so I assume it coming from somewhere. My friend says it sounds Welsh like my other middle name. Can anyone help with these?

Hi Cody,
Haverd looks like a spelling variant of Havard. I found these meanings:
1) From Old English "Hayward" meaning ´hedge´ + ´protector´
2) English form of the Norwegian name "Håvard" which derives from the Old Norse name "Hávarðr" meaning ´high´ or ´horse´ + ´protector´
