Actually, my husband and I choose the surname Adia when we got married. It is actually Hausa(northern African dialect) for gift. It is interesting to see these other meanings. However, in Hausa it is pronounced ah-dee-ah where as in Sarah Mac's song it is pronounced ay-dee-ah. Pretty cool, I hadn't remembered that there was a song called Adia!
