Name origin
My grandmother's name was Paquita Fern.
I was wondering if anyone knew the origin of Paquita

"Paquita" is a diminutive of the Spanish feminine name "Pasqualita" or "Pascualita", meaning "Easter".
It would be helpful if you would read the message if bright yellow prior to posting, about providing ethnic background for name requests, as with the other request you posted for your uncle's name.

Also...
Paquita is the most common pet form of the Spanish name Francisa, I find it hard to belive that her given name is in fact just "Paquita".
Hope this helps,

One thing I like about you, Nan...
is that you're mature enough to be able to say how you feel about people. I think many of my friends feel the same way about me, but they're just too shy to express the "lovable" part.
