I have found examples of this name in Eastern European countries but still no definite meaning. It is possible that the Hebrew may relate to these names but the second element may well be linked to the Slavic name element 'dar' meaning "gift".

No need to be sorry, I appreciate the fact you actually took some of your time to do this. Could you recommend any other good sources online?

I've checked nearly all the sources I can think of unfortunately. But if the name has a Germanic origin it may be at:
