MY BABY IS DUE NEXT MONTH AND HER NAME IS GOING TO BE Zollie and I can't find the meaning of her name no were and we really want to know if you can help us find the meaning and e-mail me please. I have tryed almost all the web sites.PLEASE HELP US PLEASE. THE NAME IS FOR A AFRICAN-AMERICAN BABY GIRL.

Perhaps the fact that you can find nothing about this "name" should suggest to you that it might be worth reconsidering.

In South Africa a zol is a reefer - a marijuana cigarette. So a zollie would be a small or half-smoked one.

Perhaps Molly or Zoe would do instead?

If Zollie has a brother someday, mom can name him "Doobie"...
