Re: Name
in reply to a message by Kapri Vander Wall
"Kapri" may be an alternate spelling of the Latin word "capri" which means "of the goat", "belonging to the goat". Or it could come from the name of the Island of Capri in Italy's Bay of Naples -- which was so named in ancient times because of it's wild goat population.
For a girl's name, it could also be a shortened form of "Caprice", which means: "a tendency to change one's mind without motive", "whimsicality".
It's a popular name among Satanists, due to both of the above definitions. And despite the fact that it only consists of 5 letters. ;)
