can any 1 please help me find out as much info as possible about irish names and clans i have tryed every where and keep coming up with the same stuff that is not very usefull! thanx

You can't do much better than Daire's "Celtic, Gaelic, Irish, and Scottish Names" site...
just go to Yahoo, type "CGIS names" in the Search box, and it'll be the first site listed. Extensive lists of both first and last names, with credible meanings and pronunciations. I've found it to be very well-researched.
Rather an informative and literate message board, too, altho not chronically warped and irreverent like this one. I used to post there frequently 3 or 4 years ago, and may start showing up again. (That's either an enticement or a warning - your call.)
