I'm looking for an old friend yet I can barely pronounce her name. She was from Germany and her name was something like 'Iktrikt' or 'Ichtricht'? I thought it might be German for Ingrid but after seeing this website obviously not. I just haven't got a clue. Thanks for any help on spelling or pronunciation.

Good luck finding your friend if you have no clue what her name is or how to spell it...

Hi William,I haven't ever heard a name which sounded like that in Germany. Haven't you got any clue about the spelling of that name?Regards, Satu

Unfortunately not. It's a recording in my head of her name when she said it to me, just trying to materialise it... My pronunciation is as close as it gets I suppose. Perhaps it has other origins. Thanks for your response anyway.regards, william
