I know that Maren is a girls' name. But I'm not sure of its origins or meaning. Can anyone help?Also- I feel silly about this one- Trista. I heard this name from the Bachelorette, of course. I think it means sad, but in what language?Thanks!

Nah, actually Tristan means noisey one. Whereas Trista means 'melancholy' which is more similar to the name Tristram (male) which means 'sorrowful labour'
