I found on the Internet that all the names Jarkko, Jarmo, Jarno, Jere, Jeremias, and Jorma have their name day/saint's day on the 26th of June i.e. just yesterday, so I strongly suspected a connection between Jarmo and Jeremy, but could not prove it...
