My (related query is: I have seen in print the confident claim that the girl's name Lynnette is derived from Eiluned. This would give a clue to the pronunciation, no doubt.
It looks a bit remote from reality, though. I wouldn't be surprised if Lynnette was a dim. of Helen, or simply of good old Lynn. Does anyone have any ideas?
