It hurts me because to see innocent, helpless punctuation misused and abused, yes. Both for the punctuation's sake and the sake of my inner punctuation Nazi.
EDIT: Hit the "send" button too soon... Also, overusing and/or misusing punctuation tends to make you look like an immature, hyperactive 12-year-old. And we prefer our posters to be mature and reasonably calm, whatever their chronological age may be.
There is no specific rule against misusing punctuation, but there is a rule about legibility of posts and avoiding rampant netspeak: http://www.behindthename.com/bb/help.php?board=gen#rules. You haven't broken that rule though, at least not imo.
