Meaning of a name
Dear Sir or Madam,
I dreamed of a word or name "Ashiyarat". I would like to know what it is. Is it a name or a word and what does it means?
Thank you for your cooperation.
With kind regards,
Andrea Janga

Ashtoreth was a Phoenician (Canaanite) goddess; the meaning of her name is unknown, but probably simply meant: Lady (since her male coutnerpart, Ba'al, means: Lord).
Ararat, the mountain on which Noah's Ark is believed by some to have landed, seems to mean: high, holy piece of land.
So your subconscious mind, perhaps stimulated by a large helping of cheese before retiring, could have intended to merge these two and come up with, perhaps, Lady of the Lofty Sanctuary.
This is total fantasy, you understand - Ashiyarat might be a distant memory of your neighbour's goldfish's name, or your bus driver's favourite homemade cuss word. Only you will ever really know.
