Hello there! My cousin is looking for the meaning and ethnic background of her first name DeVelva. All we know about it, is that it was her grandmothers first name. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

She had been told it was French. But she just went to France and asked there and was told it was not french, but maybe Italian?
