Grandma's name :o)
My Grandmother on my Mother's side is Belgian. Her name is
Haydeé Marie Octavie .
All the girls on her family had Marie as a MN. When she was a little girl until married, she went by Tavita, short for Octavie. Octavie is French female form of Octavius which means "eighth". She is number 8 out of 9 siblings. After she got married she started to go By Haydeé. She is now 89 and tragically suffering of Alzheimer's .I just wanted to share her name with you. I find it fascinating how she got it :o)

Sounds kinda like how my mother got her name. :)My mother's parents couldn't agree on what to name her, so her original birth certificate had on it "Unnamed", but, through useage, everybody knew her as either Sister or Harriette. The spelling came about because there were three Harriets in one of her classes, so the first one was Harriet, the second was Harriett, and Mom, being the third one, got Harriette. She finally had it legalized when she was close to 50. She's now 73, has fourth stage cancer which has affected her liver, and is right now in a hospice program.Phyllis (aka Sidhe Uaine or Gaia Euphoria)
