I'm wondering if anybody can help me with the name Eimhear ... I believe it is a female name and is pronounced: Ever ... its possibly of Celtic origin ... but I am not sure

If anybody has any information at all on this name please let me know

Yup - Irish or Scots Gaelic and pronounced...

evva or occasionally in Ireland now eem-er (pronounciation derived from misunderstanding of spelling - the earliest form of the name is Emer).

So, it's fine for me to use the pronounciation of: Ever/Evva? ... I prefer that to Emer ... Thanks
