My name is Brecken, and I would really like to know the origin and meaning of the name. I have checked and can find my name on no websites, and in no books. I've heard that "Breck" means freckled, but I would like to know about the full name "Brecken". If anyone can help, it would be great if you could email me at BreBes04@aol.com. Thanks! :)

This is just a guess, because I don't know it exactly...
I think that there is a connection with Breck (Celtic name meaning freckled). There's a Celtic diminutive ending -án. So maybe the original form of your name was Breckán which changed to Brecken in English? So the meaning would be "little freckled one".
