My name has always been pronounced Tre-fee-na not Try-fee-na.
It means delicate and delicious.
In the Bible St Paul wrote "Salute Tryphena and Tryphosa who labour in the Lord" No one seems to know what they did though.

Where I live it's quite widely used, and always sounds like TRY-FEE-na.
