Is Zephta a male name? I found Bible records for the children of Palmer and Lucy (Bidwell) Sweet, all born evidently in Farmington, Hartford, CT. Zephta, one of those children was born 2 nov 1786. I think it is a male name but have not been able to find it anywhere.
