There is an english form Euiala. I do not know the meaning per se but, it has to do with ungulation - a sort of yodeling. You might hear middle easterners use that "la-la-la-la..." sound. It is meant to mimic the sound of the words Praise God or Hallelujah and a sound a horn or caller shouts announcing some set time or victory or encouragement.
