Hi, I like the name Shawna for a girl; I think it's unique and not too popular. Does anyone know what it means and where it came from? Also please give me your opinion on it. Thanks so much!

Shawna is the female equivilant of Shawn (Sean). As the name Sean is obviously Irish, so is Shawna, and nowadays, is quite popular in Ireland.
