It helps if you specify ethnicity and gender. There is a Hindu name deepaa which signfies something that blazes or lights up an area, i.e. a lamp, but unless you think the name has Indian connection, it is probably not related: diepa is an unlikely spelling for deepa.

I guess it's a variant of Deepa, which means "light" in Sanskrit.
