Mayo might be after the county in Ireland County Mayo, where some rather good Irish singers and songs come from (if not some good Irish, too. ;))Phyllis (aka Sidhe Uaine or Gaia Euphoria)

Yeah, me too! If I wanted to use it as a name, I'd change the male ending to female, Maya. When I say it, it's better, "mie-oh", but imagine how a kid would be teased over that. "Mayonaise!" Y ;)

these don't really sound like unique names, they look like bad spellings of names
