I have a friend named Taidy (pron. tidy) All she knows is that her grandmother found the name in a book. She is from Cuba and originally spelt it Tahidy. Anyone know anything about this name?

I really hope I'm wrong, but it could have been a book about Tahiti.

I don't know, I suppose that is a possibility. I think it was a character but I am not sure.
