I have a very unique name...Samra
I am female, the only reason I am so inquisitive as to any possible meaning of my name..is due to the fact it is so uncommon. Samara is kind of common..as is Tamra...but never Samra. If you would be so kind as to shed some light..that would be wonderful..Thanks! My ethnic backround is Scottish...however I look far more Arabic than Scottish.

My name is also Samra :) It is an Arabic name which means "tanned" or "dark skinned". It is uncommon even in the Middle East and is used more as an adjective. Since I am tanned, Arabic speaking people tell me my name suits me very well. I hope I was able to help you!

the best advice i can give you is to go to google and search for name meanings and find a site that tells you the meaning of samra i suggest www.kabalarians.com/female/samra.htm i just searched and found your name good luck
