re: New name! Endelecia
Hello. I would like to add a new name to the list. Originally my first name was "Endelecia". I was adopted and it is now my middle name, I believe it is a Spanish name. It was my great grandmothers name on my dad's side from what my mother told me. I do know that both my mothers and dad's families are from Pueblo,Colorado and Raton and Clayton New Mexico, both sides have family scattered in both states. The gender is female. My mother's last name is Sintas and my fathers Vigil. Any info would help a great deal, I am just not sure about where to look....thanks a bunch!!

I am original a Sintas I live in Raton Have Relatives in Clayton, and in Colorado. What is your Mother first name. You could email me back. I would like to here from you.
My name is Endelecia. My mother choose my name from a friend's baby who passed. I have meet Endelecio's from Mexico of no relation to myself that were male but never another Endelecia. I did have a meeting with a gentlemen from New York who said his family of Puerto Rican decent had a sister named Endelecia.
Old word: Endelecheia
Endelecheia (f): Greek word meaning "constancy" or "continuity". I have found no evidence, however, that it has ever been used as a first name...

I find Endelecia sounding very close to the name Andalusia / Andalucia, the name of a region in Spain. If my memory serves me right, it means "to walk good." I had found that via Google a while ago. I suggest you try to do that, too.
