Sure, why not? Sean is very okay for a girl's name, much better than all the Alex's, Mike's, Jo's, Chris', etc. out there. :-D

I wouldn't name a girl Sean - it's too masculine. Granted masculine names are trendy right now for girls, but Sean should stick to being a boy's name. If you're naming your future daughter after someone in the family named Sean, or just like the name, I suggest Seana, Shauna, or Shawna (I like this one the best).

Personally, I would say no! I would pick Shauna or maybe Sian (pronounced Sharn) for a girl if you like the sound.
