Raphael nicknames

Are there any good nicknames for Raphael aside from Raph?I really love the name, but I can't imagine yelling Raphael or even Raph six times across the playground someday to get a 5 year olds attention.

The Raphael I went to university with was always known as Rafi (RAY-fi).

Raphael, one of our neighbour's sons, went by the nicknames Raffi as a child and now Raph as an adult. He's a talented surfin' dude and always got plenty of respect!

Must be losing brain cells...MikeC (Raph's early surfing buddy) claims that Raph never, never went by the nickname "Raffi".

my sister's boyfriend's name is Raphael and everybody calles him Raffy (honestly, that's how they spell it!). hope it helps!

I do beleive that Rafe is a nickname of Raulph. I heard of it in the movie: Pearl Harbor.

Yeah, but I doubt Gabrielle would want to yell "Rafe!" "Rafe!" across the playground 5 or 6 times either. Stuff like that can have awkward consequences.

My friend Rafael goes by Ralph or Ralphie and my Spanish professor goes by Rafa. They both spell their names with an "f" instead of "ph" though
