"Mini antipope"?
There have been antipopes in the past; the dictionary definition is "A person claiming to be or elected pope in opposition to the one chosen by church law, as during a schism."
I'm slapping myself for not thinking of "antipope" myself. Thanks for the inspiration! :-D
