HI,MY NAME IS NAYDALIS AND I ALWAYS GET ASKED WHAT MY NAME MEANS, BUT I HAVE NO IDEA. ITS A FEMININE NAME, IAM ORIGINALLY FROM THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, MY MOM HEARD THE NAME FROM SOMEONE ELSE WHICH IS FROM PUERTO RICO. FROM WHAT SHE HAS TOLD ME IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH NIGHT AND DAY.HOPEFULLY YOU CAN HELP ME WITH FINDING OUT THE TRUE MEANING.THANX

Likely a form of Natalie. Natalie can be traced back to Latin natalis, which if you replace the l with a d and add a 'y', which is common moderly to add in new letters and create alternative pronounciations and spellings.
Natalis means birthday. I disagree with this site Natalie means 'christmas day'. Natale domini, or the birth of the son, refers to Christ's supposed birth on Dec. 25. The Natale portion, which Natalie is from, is only associated with birth, and not 'the son' or Christ.
