I am collectingrare names, and yours *is* rare. May I ask in what year you were born and in what town your birth was registered (Standesamt)? I would like to pass this information on (no surname of course) to Dr. Wilfried Seibicke, so it will appear in the supplement volume of his Handbuch Deutscher Vornamen - if you don't mind.
Why did your parents put the stress on the second syllable? The Hebrew word "ge-uh-LAH" has it on the last syllable.
