How do you think this is pronounced?
How is this name pronounced, in your opinion?
Reindert
It's a Frisian male name, and I know how it's originally pronounced, but I need to know how English-speaking people think how it is pronounced, so maybe I could change the spelling so that the name is easier to pronounce for English-speaking people.

Lu

Being from the south and all, I'd have to agree with Matt and say "RainDurt".
I would pronounce it RHINE-DERLT or RHINE-DIRT. It looks german to me and that is how one would pronounce it in Germany.
I imagine the american english pronunciation of that would be like RAINDURT since people would associate the rein like reindeer, and dert of course in an american pronunciation
I'd pronounce it RAIN-DURT
I would probably pronounce it as RINE-DURT
