My daughters father named her Sincere. He said he got the name from an African-American friend of his who is also Muslim. Which is where the name supposedly came from...the Muslim religion,but I don't find it in your list. Can you please help us in getting any information possible?

Could it be from an English language dictionary?

I would assume that it is from there without any of the religious entanglements that one can find in quite a few names.
