how to pronounce the name Blythe?
Hi, I've seen this name written down very often now, but I've never heard anyone say the name out loud. Can anyone tell me how to pronounce it? I know that it says Bliedh on this site, but on one of the polls I saw people were pronouncing it in different ways... Can anyone help me?
Thanks!

I pronounce it BLIETH (rhyming with life) like the English word blithe. ___________________________Silversliver! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !- Naomi, Helena, Tanith, Jude, Rowan, Bryony, Lucy, Faye, Sabia, Oliver, Torin, Flynn, Evander and Damien

Definitely BLIETH (with a long I)! Never BLITH.

I said it BLIHTH for most of my life--to rhyme with "with"--but apparently that's wrong. I like it better than BLIETH, though, like "life" with a "th".Array

I pronounce it the way it's listed on the site, with a hard /th/ to rhyme with tithe.~ Caitlín
