I don't think your post was overlooked - if no-one answers then usually no-one knows. You might want to try the message board at our surnames site (www.surnames.behindthename.com) or actively seek out an Arabic names site.

I don't see a separate site or board for surnames. It looks like the exact same site.

Try *this* link: http://surnames.behindthename.com/ (I just tested it and it worked. It'll take you to a site that is very similar to this one except that the colour scheme is green).
