I knew someone named Liana who grew up in Hawaii (Oahu). You say Liana exactly as it’s spelled, with the ‘i’ pronounced as a hard ‘e’ as in ‘tree,’ not a soft ‘e’ as in ‘leg.’ The ‘a’ (both) are pronounced like an ‘ah’. So all together, it’s like saying lee-ah-nah.

Maybe it's just Liana, it's possible because all the letters in it are being used in Hawaiian.

A liana is a kind of creeper or vine. Perhaps you could find out the equivalent to that in Hawaiian.

There is probably no Hawaiian translation for 'Liana'. The majority of Hawaiian translation names are either Biblical names or names that are very common in English-speaking countries. Liana is neither.

I have never heard of the name Jorelle before, and it has never ranked within the top 1000 names in the US. A quick Google search seems to indicate that Jorelle is the brand name of a wooden toys company in France, but that is all I've been able to discover.
