ArchivesWilliam as a middle name..FOR A GIRL???
Hi!! i'm quite confused about a girl's name.I've recently meet a girl whose nickname was Will,i thought her name to be Wilhelmina or somtehing like that but after a time i found out that her middle name is William.First it was strange to me but now i think Helena William is a pretty name.
What do you think??

I think any name is okay as long as the first and middle fit well together. I have two daughters, one names Metzger Marii and the other Ekstacii Michael. I think they go well together:) Have a good day:)

Too out there for my simple tastes, I fear. Williams as a mn would work OK if they wanted to preserve a family surname, but where will this end? With a boy named Sue??

It's quite strange, but think Helena William sounds ok! It's a beautiful name for a girl.

I have never heard of William used for a girl and I don't care for it. I suppose if the girl was the only child in the family and they wanted to carry on the name William, it's OK, but then they could have used Willa or Wilhelmina.
