I heard the name during childhood. There is another Alyscenne and her last name is Vallelonga. Some have suggested it could be Russian. However, she does pronounce it this way, but has shortened it to Aly for convenience and obviously mispronounciation. I have no intentions to shorten this beautiful name!
We don't pronounce the "k" sound we say alh-eis-ah-nee. It makes since that the "e following the "c" doesn't make the ah sound. What do you think the original pronunciation was/is?
I hope to meet the other Alyscenne someday to ask some questions.
