Recently while doing research for someones genealogy. I came across the name Zimtmann.
Does anyone have a clue as to the orignal name might be or what it might mean.
I tried a German dictionary that does have medieval ties for meanings, but no use.

Your name is made of two words. Zimt means cinnamon and Mann means man.

my name is Cinnamon as well, and im currently writing an english paper about my first name. I have to describe its origin, meaning, and try to find a historical figure with the same name, and see how i can relate my personality to the meaning of my name. Lets just say im not having very good luck. All i can find is: Cinnamon meaning, beauty and the spice...Its origin is greek. So if you happen to know anything else, let me know. Thanks
