Hi, I enjoyed looking at this site....but found that my husbands name is not on here... so thought I'd add it.... Amit. It's a Hebrew name that means 'companion'. Whereas it was once only a boys name, today there are anumber of girls with the name 'Amit'. An interesting little fact is that when the Jewish religious leader, Hillel, was asked what does it mean to be holy? He answered that a person is holy if they love their 'Amit' (companion) This is similar to the wellknown Christian saying of 'love thy neighbour'. :-)
