i have a friend named Heraclio. He is of African and Spanish decent.His father was Mexican. he has always wondered about the origin of his name. i would appreciate any contribution of information that can be given.

There is a city named Heraklion in Crete maybe that is where it came from, I think it's very likely that the city got it's name from Herakles
